Collective event puts women’s health and wellbeing in focus

More than 60 women from across the island gathered for an evening dedicated to discussing health and wellbeing, at the latest Isle of Man Women’s Collective event.

The session, which took place at St John’s Mill Conference Centre, featured three speakers from the island’s health and wellbeing sector: Dr Karen Wilson of Mannin Doctors, Angela Clucas of Next Level Nutrition, and Gemma Sharpe of the Hummingbird Life Academy.

The trio covered topics including burnout and how to spot the signs, anxiety, and how your diet and eating habits can impact your life - both personally and professionally.

Kirstie Nickson, director at Sidekick PR and co-founder of the Isle of Man Women’s Collective, said: “It was a fantastic evening that really highlighted the importance of taking care of yourself, especially when so many of us are juggling businesses, senior roles in the workplace, and caring responsibilities.”

The event also saw surprise Kings Spa vouchers handed out to members of the audience, and a business card raffle to win a stay at Carrick Beg holiday home in Sulby.
